Grants only use the finest fresh Scottish salmon from the Shetland Islands to produce their range of Smoked Salmon.Time honoured smoking methods perfected over generations provide consistant, subtle texture and delicate flavour. Dry cured with natural salt and gently smoked over smouldering oak wood chips.
Grants produce two types of Cold Smoked Salmon, Premium which is deeply smoked and Traditional which is medium smoked



 

Grants Traditional Smoked Salmon
Grants maintain that their Traditional Smoked Scottish Salmon is the benchmark by which all Scottish Smoked Salmon should be judged. The Shetland Islands salmon is dry cured with natural salt and gently smoked over smouldering oak chips. The complete bloodline has been carefully removed by hand. It’s Grants top of the range product, where they take the finest pick of the best fillets from the batch and carefully remove the complete bloodline by hand prior to smoking.
Grants Traditional Smoked Salmon is also available Long Cut if required.

Grants Smokehouse Gravadlax



Using time honoured Nordic techniques perfected over generations Grants cure their prime Scottish fillets using a delicate blend of dill, salt and sugar. The steeped fillets are allowed to mature and cure for four days to develop the flavour. Once cured the fillets are topped with a scandinavian herb coating of dill, peppers and lemon oil.
