THE LOCH FYNE SMOKEHOUSE

Loch Oysters Ltd. was founded in 1978 by a local landowner, John Noble and Andrew Lane a recent graduate in marine biology. Between them they had the knowledge and resources to start what has become one of the UK’s largest oyster farms and a major player in the quality smoked and fresh salmon market.
Over the years markets have been built up at home and abroad. The company exports to over 20 countries around the world. LOCH FYNE products can be found in the top hotels from Hong Kong to New York. Top airlines also favour LOCH FYNE including British Airways and Cathay Pacific.
 


 

Classic Cold Smoked Salmon from the Loch Fyne Smokehouse
Fresh Scottish salmon is dry cured using the finest sea salt and unrefined brown sugar, smoked for 12 hours with oak chips from retired whisky casks at ambient temperature to give a delicate yet rich flavour.
Loch Fyne's Classic Smoked Salmon is subtly smoky, with a hint of sweetness, the faintest tang of oak and a satisfying fullness of flavour.
Delicious served cold with a slice of lemon and crusty brown bread or with scrambled eggs for breakfast.

Bradon Rost, Hot Smoked Salmon from the Loch Fyne Smokehouse
Bradan Rost is a kiln roasted salmon. Fresh Scottish salmon is dry cured with a sea salt and sugar recipe. This Freedom Food Scottish Salmon is then smoked using shavings from retired whisky casks at ambient temperature before extra fireboxes are lit and then the fillets are kiln roasted producing a smoked salmon with a full flavour and a moist flaky texture.
Delicious served warm or cold.
Bradan Rost is delightful when warmed through and served with a delicate Highland Sauce.
